Kimono Misuzu

A kimono shop that sells not only kimonos but also Japanese culture.

The number of people wearing kimonos is decreasing, and the kimono industry is facing a tough situation. Is there a way to do this without changing the business model? So we created a full-scale tea room within the store and opened a new tea room salon to increase the opportunities to wear kimonos.

There is a large solid wood table at the entrance of the store for reception and meetings, and in the middle there is a tatami seminar space that can also be used as seating for spectators. The tea room can be raised one level to become a stage, making it suitable for a variety of planned events, not just tea ceremony lessons, but also rakugo and Japanese dance.
